In Malacca, most of the eatery within a single shop/shop house can get by selling just 1 type of food.

Clean, organized satay house

However for most of the eatery in heart of Malacca, there are always a parking issue due to busy and narrow road. But this satay shop doesn’t have parking issue as she has ample open parking lot, the other advantage she has is the close proximity to the Jonker Street. And she occupying 2 shop lot.

1 bowl of satay sauce, 1 plate of satay, 1 plate of rice and 1 plate of condiment
(clockwise from left) Pork meat, Pork liver and chicken satay

When your order of satay arrive at your table, the lingering satay fragrance in the air will attack your sense of smell instantly. On the presentation, the satay, rice cube, cucumber/cut onions and peanut sauce was placed in individual plate.
They are seriously generous with the satay sauce which come with a spoon, in case you want to engulf the entire stick of satay with the sauce. The pork satay was BBQ to a perfect golden brown with very little char on each satay, and each pork satay stick with little fat cube has maintain the moist texture. Even the pork liver cube satay has an amazing shining texture on it, and the chicken satay texture was pretty much retain the moist texture too.

Look at the huge chunk of pork liver satay

The pork meat was well marinated which BBQ to crispy crunchy on outside and tender juicy on the bite inside.
Chicken satay meat on a dry side when you bite on it but well was well BBQ with some char on it.
Another highlight is the Pork liver cube that was BBQ to a firm solid bite and still maintain a softness as a whole.

Very moist and soft rice cube

The rice has really white and moist texture, each rice cube has a consistent soft bite and are springy, while Singapore’s version sometime you bite on a whole grain of rice.

This is a wonderlust satay sauce

My highlight is the peanut sauce that has creamy texture, the sauce is sweet sour spicy with mild tamarind in mixing and with generous pineapple paste. Each scoop of peanut sauce you will be able to bite of little chunk of pineapple. Wonderful!

On a whole, this is a long standing and well established Satay in Malacca that has a huge pool of loyal fan. I am very sure any satay liver will like their satay.
