This hidden gem road side stall at the beginning of China Town, should be one of the your food trail starting point for your evening hunt of yummy food in China Town.
Often patronize by local, the lady owner revealed she has many return customers from Singapore when I chat up with her. And she one funky lady with different shape of funky glasses she wear.
She takes the order and her hubby will take care of the wok work. They serve fried bee hoon, fried kway teow either in wet or dry version. Wet version is commonly seen in Bangkok, and I recommend you to go for the dry version.
His dry version fried bee hoon is full of wok hei (“essence” of wok). The bee hoon is fried to perfection, each bite you take is full of aromatic linger in your mouth and the wok hei gave the heavenly taste to this simple food. Going to try his fried kway teow on my next visit. Cheers
