Everywhere in Bangkok serve mango sticky rice. But who serve the best? Is Kao Neo Kor Panich!
This shop is 81 year old as of 2017. It is an old eatery establishment has many loyal customers, and also Thai Royal family who constantly order mango sticky from time to time. The owner claimed they receive the recipe from their mothe who used to work in the Royal kitchen. They used the best mango (namdokmai), which is soft sweet and juicy. There rice is from Chiang Rai which gives you’re the aromatic fragrance. Added roasted sunflower seed for extra flavour, and the other ingredient like coconut is from Chumphon, sugar from Kanchanburi. The salt they used is iodine salt.
When I had the 1st bite of the mango, they are soft, sweet and tender juicy. The rice is sweetly aromatic when partner with their coconut milk.
A humble serving of mango sticky rice will also entitle you to complimentary sky juice… when you are a humble customer like me. 😛
