Located in a well hidden wet market made known only to the local. I 1st found this stall by chance couple year back, and a revisit in 2017 saw them added English name (Fish maw soup) to their signboard. It shown more and more traveler venture into other unknown places in Bangkok, and I even found a new business set up by foreigner (a Thai cooking class and bike tour) along the alley to wet market.
There are only a few stalls selling cooked food and the fish maw soup is one of them. Got my usual fish maw soup with bee hoon and I begin to devour what I have been missing for the past couple of year.
The bowl of fish maw soup with been hoon comes with fish maw, bee hoon, bamboo shoo, mushroom, chicken meat and pigeon egg. The fish maw taste even better this time, it is soft silky smooth and creamy jelly. The gravy is thick and starchy, and the concoction ingredient add an extra aroma taste to this humble little bowl of fish maw soup. They also serve with chicken feet and please make know to her if you like to have extra chicken feet to go with.
