Have a beer and snack your way into the night. This nostalgia corner coffee shop is your pit stop after some shopping in Silom area, and interior of the coffee shop is pretty similar to those old school coffee shops in Singapore.
Just outside the coffee shop, there is a little push cart stall selling deep fried seafood snack, they have deep fried baby crab and sotong. To entice people to eat, they stack up the snack mountain high. The mountain of snack view smack right into your face when you walking towards the stall.
You will stop, pause and… wala, you are sold by the view and will get a bag to go or eat inside the coffee shop. After your order, you can bring it into the coffee shop and order a local thai beer (Singha) to pair with the deep fried snack. Don’t forget the chilli ya. These 3 are the lethal combination to spice you up after an exhausted walk around the shopping around, and cool you down simultaneously. They deep fried till the baby crab are so crispy and you just keep on going, the sotong wise is tender and balance up the soft and crispy. Must eat when you are around the area.
