No1. Authentic coconut ice cream is in… (Bangkok)

Fear not, This corner shop tuck into cluster of shop houses is not far from Kao Neo Kor Panich (Royal endorsed mango sticky rice)! Straight to the point, they serve 2 types of coconut ice cream, 1 make with young coconut meat and the other made with coconut milk extract from meat. Both not creamy like ice cream but more like a lighter sorbet version. No added flavoring at all. All 100% coconut and you can pick topping to go with, and I highly recommend their home made roasted peanut!

The young coconut ice cream will leave an aroma trace in your mouth and the milky after taste of the coconut milk ice cream will lingering in your mind.

To cool down from heat and humidity after you sample some other yummy food around the area, you must go there to devour the delicious coconut ice cream to complete your trip there.

So fresh so yummy, it is 100% coconut and their ice cream was endorsed by LV into LV’s must eat guide in 2015.

Shop owner is able to speaks English so there should be any language barrier, unless you speak no Thai non English.

To give you a sense of direction to this shop. I will use the super famous pad thai (Thip Samai) shop as a marker. It is located West of Thip Samai and about 1km walk from there. Go explore around the area as there are many yummy food there. Best go mid-morning till mid afternoon.

  1. WOW! I didn’t knew this was the most authentic…. The travel gods must like me so much! I was in Bangkok last year and decided to just walk around the district the whole day and stumbled upon this unassuming store. It was so hot that day and I saw that they were selling ice cream, so I obliged! that was the only coconut ice cream I had in Bangkok and it was awesome! I’ll be back in Bangkok next year with friends ill be sure to bring them here!
