Falling in love madly with chicken feet soup (Bali)

I never like chicken feet at all but I will surrender myself to this local meal. Tiny shop, make shift wooden table with plastic cover and plastic chairs. Ignore the low budget set up, what you aim for is their chicken feet soup with rice and their only dish on their menu.

A huge pot fill with chicken feet at the shop entrance greets you as you enter. And your mind will shout at you to devour those chicken ASAP. The soup was well seasoned with various spice and it taste a little peppery, but you add other sauce to you liking, the chicken feet was well cooked. The little meat around the bone was cooked to soft and the skin just came off easily when you bite on it, it was so tasty and I just keep eating the chicken feet nonstop. Don’t forget your rice since chicken meat does not have too much eat, or else you will feel hungry again after that.

Grab a packet of kerupuk (deep fried crackers) to add flavor to this meal. Heavenly!

Located about 800m walk from East of Hard Rock cafe (see address & map below)
